Today’s session was meant to be Workout Four, which is the last one in my program, but it needed the band. Finding an elastic band equivalent is now officially on my list of things to do.
So, I trundled back to Workout One and did the express version – 16 minutes in total – sounds perfect to me.
Nothing new to report here. There was that hideous, laying on your front, clenching your arse cheeks and heels together, beached (and possibly demented) mermaid move. The cat and I shared the chair while I did my seated cushion squeezes and it didn’t feel as sad as last time. Since deciding to just get on with it, it’s much better. Indecision and delay suck.
Workout One is dedicated to body awareness. It’s not very hard; it’s more of a base for the program. She described the muscles in today’s workout as some of the main spinal stabilisers.
Pee in the shower update: No change here. Eyeroll. But good things take time…
