What CFU should the probiotics I use be?

Probiotic capsules should have as many CFU (colony forming units) as possible – because we are an international community, that number will differ in each location/by product available, so whatever you can find that has the highest bacteria count with the best range of species will be fine.

There is no hard and fast rule, so just find the best probiotic that fits the bill. We love Life-Space Women’s Microflora Probiotic

Don’t forget to check the capsule types – any gelatin or enteric-coated capsules (even vegetable capsules) must be transferred to plain vegetable caps.
