How to heat coconut oil and essential oils

Heating coconut and essential oils

Heating coconut oil

Use hot water (either run the jar under hot water or sit whatever portion you are using in a glass cup or jar in hot water) to liquefy the coconut oil. Do not microwave or cook.

Coconut oil has a very high smoke point, but once it smokes, it’s done for. Never use overheated coconut oil in your vagina.

Heating essential oils (don’t!)

Never heat essential oils, as they change structure (for the worse) quickly. Essential oils are always liquid, so you can add them to the coconut once it’s liquid.
