FAQs of using calendula vaginally
Why is the pessary blend brown?
The high-potency CO² calendula extract is so strong that, instead of being translucent like other essential oils after regular extraction methods, so much of the essential oil was extracted that it is brown!
Can I freeze my pessaries?
Yes, but when you initially cool the pessaries, do it slowly (in the fridge, not the freezer); otherwise, the solid pessaries can crack. But don’t worry, you can use two halves just as well as one whole, or you can remelt the pessaries and try again. Once they’re solid, you can store them anywhere you like that’s cold!
Safety information
- Do not use if you are pregnant unless under the guidance of a practitioner
- Do not use if you are allergic to any of the ingredients (including the daisy family)
- If irritation occurs, discontinue use
- Store bottle in a cool, dry place out of reach of children
- Store pessaries and bottle in fridge between uses
- Avoid contact with eyes
- Do not eat

Nice to use, bit finicky to fill the molds (spilled a bit the first time!). My recommendation is to stabilise the tray with two strong objects, and put a paper towel under for drips and don’t over fill them. One bottle lasts a long time, I have had mine for three months already and only use it when I am experiencing irritation which is infrequent. Very handy to have around, it helps me feel more confident that I can deal with my small irritations without needing to book into a clinic where they don’t understand how to help me. Thanks ladies! 🤗

I had so much irritation and inflammation after treating a BV infection and this calmed everything right down. I used it every other night for about a week and the soreness went from really uncomfortable to barely noticeable. The calendula blend smells lovely and the cocoa butter base is so soothing when it melts. Really glad I found this company, brilliant and beautiful minds on women’s problems is what we need!
