My journey with BV is unfortunately quite long, but the real change came after I got a Juno report which showed I had very high numbers of Prevotella Bivia (over 34%) in my microbiome.
The Juno represenative was very helpful, explaining that this was a big cause of so many of my awful symptoms, but she could only offer me antibiotics, which clearly haven’t worked for me after I must have tried them nearly 10 times by now.
I was searching online and the new google (reddit!) for natural treatments for Prevotella, and stumbled across this website. My Vagina is the only clinic that specifies Prevotella species in a treatment, so naturally I leapt on it!
