What’s so special about the vaginal microbiome?
The vagina is a very special ecosystem, with an abundance of bacteria that keep it healthy and protected, Lactobacillus. These friendly lactobacilli species are working hard to keep your vagina healthy and safe. One researcher even called one species better than a condom for protecting from HIV! High praise indeed!
