About My Vagina’s manuka honey provider
Berringa is an Australian-owned company that only sources 100% Australian honey and are strong advocates of sustainable farming, working closely with beekeepers to ensure good farming practices.
Australia’s warmer climate provides very favourable conditions for growing Manuka plants (and they have 83 species) that produce honey with high amounts of methylglyoxal (MGO) from their unique nectar and pollen, as acknowledged by world experts in honey production. MGO is internationally recognised as a key measure of Manuka antibacterial activity.
Berringa’s 100% Australian Super Manuka Honey MGO900+ is an ultra-high strength bioactive honey suitable for wound care and digestive health. It is antibacterial and contains natural enzymes and antioxidants with a pre-biotic effect which may boost immunity. It may be a natural alternative to refined sweeteners, and it can be added to foods or drinks but is more often taken by itself, orally or topically.
Each batch is tested by independent NATA-accredited laboratories, so you can be sure when it says MGO900+ the methylglyoxal level is at least that.

Def recommend. I have neurological conditions, pelvic imbalance issues and other factors that kept me in chronic UTI and BV infections. For 4 years, and with western meds, I could not shake those infections. I was on Nitrofurantoin (macrobid) for 4 years, 2-3 times a week for UTI “management.” About 2 years into those 4 years, I experienced thrush looking vaginal yeast infections and unknowingly, BV. 3 years later, now 7 years total, I was using a round of Macrobid monthly, followed by Bactrim and/or Cephalaxin roughly 2 times a month (at least one or the other in a month) for the past 3 years of those 7 years. What a hellish cycle autoimmune diseases, and specifically the doctors, kept me in. As we all have experienced, doctors will prescribe antibiotics like they’re candy. A few western docs told me to dive into functional medicine, and with the help of this product, manuka honey and others have kept me UTI, BV and yeast infection free for 7 months! Look into PubMed for articles on using Manuka Honey for BV, and be sure to counter your research with the concept of Lactobacillus overgrowth. Furthermore, anytime, and I mean almost everytime, insert Manuka Honey vaginally with a nitrile-gloved hand after intimate scenarios whether with yourself of your SO. Regarding Lactobacillus overgrowth, if your nethers begin to smell like yogurt, back off on using Manuka Honey, or anything like Vitamin C suppositories or boric acid. Side note when using Vitamin C suppositories, only use these to first assist in clearing up your current, chronic BV infection (along with other medications prescribed by a doctor) and use for 6 consecutive nights monthly following your menstrual cycle. And finally, back to this manuka honey, this will clear your BV (included in a comprehensive plan) and taste so good. It’s rich in flavor, dark amber in color and the aroma is mouth watering!

The Killing BV/MyVagina instructions for using Manukua Honey vaginally are very good. I was provided with a syringe and small plastic cup, and also with vegetable capsules so I could decide how to use. Need to warm up honey first so it becomes more liquid! This is safe for the honey. My vagina was very happy after my treatment, I can recommend this treatment.

I could only use gentle honey, this really soothed my symptoms.

I can only give four stars – it cleared my BV but I ended up with a yeast infection! Overall very good to use, I have found the administration a little sticky but my odour and discharge cleared up almost immediately. I am prone to thrush, so not a big surprise there, it’s gone now but user beware! Very high grade product, this is the best honey I think you can buy, the 900 plus grade. The price is also very good, as this is expensive honey.
