About My Vagina’s manuka honey provider
Berringa is an Australian-owned company that only sources 100% Australian honey and are strong advocates of sustainable farming, working closely with beekeepers to ensure good farming practices.
Australia’s warmer climate provides very favourable conditions for growing Manuka plants (and they have 83 species) that produce honey with high amounts of methylglyoxal (MGO) from their unique nectar and pollen, as acknowledged by world experts in honey production. MGO is internationally recognised as a key measure of Manuka antibacterial activity.
Berringa’s 100% Australian Super Manuka Honey MGO900+ is an ultra-high strength bioactive honey suitable for wound care and digestive health. It is antibacterial and contains natural enzymes and antioxidants with a pre-biotic effect which may boost immunity. It may be a natural alternative to refined sweeteners, and it can be added to foods or drinks but is more often taken by itself, orally or topically.
Each batch is tested by independent NATA-accredited laboratories, so you can be sure when it says MGO900+ the methylglyoxal level is at least that.

Am folosit acest miere manuka pentru BV-ul meu si a functionat foarte bine. Calitatea este excelenta, culoarea inchisa si aroma sunt perfecte. Am aplicat-o cu seringa inclusa in fiecare seara timp de o saptamana. Recomand!

Applied after my period and honestly the relief was almost immediate. Smells like honey obviously but also feels soothing. Did the whole syringe application thing which is a bit messy but worth it. I’ll be using this again next time I have symptoms.

I used the veggie capsules method, filled them with honey and inserted before bed and take a tablespoon every morning in my smoothie. So much less mess than the syringe. I’m allergic to antibiotics so can’t use those and also very sensitive to most ingredients, and saw recommendations for manuka honey for infections, so thought I would give it a try. It definitely helps while I’m using it, it’s soothing and no scent (just honey!) but I need to maybe do another round to be sure. I like it, it feels very natural. The capsules dissolve and the honey does its thing overnight. Wear a pad though because there will be some sticky honey leakage in the morning! This honey is beautiful quality, you can taste the difference from regular manuka.

Gave me thrush. Why are you recommending honey in the vagina.

I used this when my BV came back after my period. Applied it every night for about a week with a glove and it sorted things out. I keep a jar in the fridge now so I have it ready whenever I need it. Much better than going back on antibiotics, but I did start getting a yeast infection, beware if you are prone to that! The honey does seem to feed yeast, but it seems only if you already have some yeast. I normally get a YI near my period, so I just used the honey near the start of my cycle. I did make a few mistakes at times but I worked it out! I also used the V Spot probiotic from this company at the same time but I think maybe it’s best to use it at another time so the honey doesn’t coat the probiotics, could it kill them? idk exactly the right process. Overall I have had a good experience and lots of honey is left in my jar, I think lasts forever so I’ll always have some on hand!

Works well. Application is fine, people say it’s sticky but you just have a shower and it’s gone. Used it over a week for a flare up and things settled down. Good product.

I did a lot of research before buying this, there are actual studies published showing Manuka Honey works for BV. The 900+ MGO grade is hard to find and the price here is genuinely good for what you’re getting. The honey comes with a syringe and little cup and even veggie capsules if you prefer to insert it that way. I used the syringe method nightly during a flare up and it calmed everything down within about 5 days. The aroma is incredible too. I can definitely recommend this product and this kit has everything you need.

After 4 years of antibiotics I was desperate for something different. My functional medicine doctor suggested Manuka honey orally and I found this through My Vagina, I didn’t know you could use it “down there”. I did nightly applications 2 or 3 x p / week and my symptoms went away and so far have not come back. That was 3 months ago and I haven’t had a flare since. I’m so grateful. 🥰

I mainly use this after being intimate with my partner to stop the BV coming back. People online were applying it straight after sex and it’s been really effective, haven’t had a recurrence in months now. The honey itself smells amazing and the quality is obviously very high, it’s like liquid silk! Just a bit fiddly to apply in the moment but you get used to it.

Best manuka honey I’ve found for the price. The 900+ grade makes a real difference to the medicinal quality. The supermarket brands are low grade, check the label before buying!

The syringe makes application so much easier than I expected. You do need to warm the honey first otherwise its way too thick, did that the hard way 😂 I put the jar in a bowl of hot water for a few minutes. I used it for a couple of days to clear odor and it got my PH back to healthy, but is sticky and there’s some mess in the morning but honestly a small price to pay. But I 🥰 honey so there’s that.

Good quality Manuka. The only thing is I got a yeast infection from it, which I’ve read can happen from the sugars in honey. Had to treat that separately. But the honey itself was high quality and good for the price as well with such high ratings for the honey on the manuka scales. I will use this orally now not inserted as I think that’s most helpful in my situation.

Def recommend. I have neurological conditions, pelvic imbalance issues and other factors that kept me in chronic UTI and BV infections. For 4 years, and with western meds, I could not shake those infections. I was on Nitrofurantoin (macrobid) for 4 years, 2-3 times a week for UTI “management.” About 2 years into those 4 years, I experienced thrush looking yeast infections and unknowingly, BV. 3 years later, now 7 years total, I was using a round of Macrobid monthly, followed by Bactrim and/or Cephalaxin roughly 2 times a month (at least one or the other in a month) for the past 3 years of those 7 years.
What a hellish cycle autoimmune diseases, and specifically the doctors, kept me in. As we all have experienced, doctors will prescribe antibiotics like they’re candy. A few western docs told me to dive into functional medicine, and with the help of this product, manuka honey and others have kept me UTI, BV and yeast infection free for 7 months! Look into PubMed for articles on using Manuka Honey for BV, and be sure to counter your research with the concept of Lactobacillus overgrowth. Furthermore, anytime, and I mean almost everytime, insert Manuka Honey vaginally with a nitrile-gloved hand after intimate scenarios whether with yourself of your SO.
Regarding Lactobacillus overgrowth, if your nethers begin to smell like yogurt, back off on using Manuka Honey, or anything like Vitamin C suppositories or boric acid. Side note when using Vitamin C suppositories, only use these to first assist in clearing up your current, chronic BV infection (along with other medications prescribed by a doctor) and use for 6 consecutive nights monthly following your menstrual cycle. And finally, back to this manuka honey, this will clear your BV (included as part of a proper plan) and taste so good. It’s rich in flavor, dark amber in color and the aroma is mouth watering!

The Killing BV/MyVagina instructions for using Manukua Honey vaginally are very good. I was provided with a syringe and small plastic cup, and also with vegetable capsules so I could decide how to use. Need to warm up honey first so it becomes more liquid! This is safe for the honey. My vagina was very happy after my treatment, I can recommend this treatment.

I can only give four stars – it cleared my BV but I ended up with a yeast infection! Overall very good to use, I have found the administration a little sticky but my odour and discharge cleared up almost immediately. I am prone to thrush, so not a big surprise there, it’s gone now but user beware! Very high grade product, this is the best honey I think you can buy, the 900 plus grade. The price is also very good, as this is expensive honey.
