Your Questions, Answered
Is the My Vagina Pro membership really free?
Yes. It costs nothing to join, and you will always have access to a substantial library of practitioner-relevant content at no charge. Paid options are available only if you choose to enrol in advanced courses, Pro+ clinical tools or mentoring. My Vagina is an independent organisation with no pharmaceutical ties, so our focus is education, not upselling.
What is included in the free My Vagina Pro membership?
You will gain access to a growing collection of practitioner-ready content, including explainers, how-to guides, short lessons, practical clinical pearls, cautionary tales, foundational concepts and case-based insights. These materials help you understand vulvovaginal conditions through an integrative and functional medicine lens, supporting more confident treatment decisions.
Do I need to prove I’m a practitioner to join?
No. My Vagina Pro uses a self-selection model. If you work with patients or clients in any capacity related to vulvovaginal health, or you are a student in a health-related discipline, you are welcome to join. No documentation is required.
Is this membership only for naturopaths?
Not at all. My Vagina Pro is designed for any practitioner who sees patients with vulvovaginal or urogenital symptoms. This includes naturopaths, herbalists, nutritionists, pelvic physiotherapists, midwives, nurses, GPs, functional medicine practitioners and health students. The content is modality-inclusive and clinically relevant across disciplines.
Do I get immediate access after signing up?
Yes. As soon as you enter your details, you will receive an email containing an auto-login link. Your private practitioner account is created instantly, allowing you to start exploring the content straight away.
How often is new content added?
New practitioner material is added regularly as we produce more case studies, research reviews, diagrams, explainers, tools and training pieces. The library evolves constantly in response to practitioner needs and emerging evidence.
Can I use the patient handouts and educational materials in my clinic?
Yes. Practitioner-facing handouts and resources are provided to help you explain concepts clearly to your patients. You are free to share them in clinical practice. They are not to be sold or republished online without express written permission.
Is the content evidence-based?
Yes. Every piece of educational content is grounded in scientific literature, clinical experience and functional/integrative frameworks. Our team evaluates the quality of the evidence and flags where data are limited or emerging so you can make informed clinical decisions.
How is this different from what I learned in my training?
Standard education in urogenital health often focuses on acute treatment or narrow biomedical pathways, leaving practitioners underprepared for complex, recurrent and treatment-resistant cases. My Vagina Pro closes this gap by teaching vaginal ecosystem science, body-system influences, nuanced pattern recognition and natural treatment strategies that align with clinical reality.
Is this suitable if I’m new to vulvovaginal healthcare?
Yes. My Vagina Pro supports practitioners at every level. If you’re beginning, the foundational content helps you build confidence. If you’re experienced, the advanced case discussions and deeper physiological breakdowns offer refinement and new perspectives.
Does My Vagina Pro include treatment protocols?
Some protocols, decision support tools, and clinical frameworks are available only via Pro+ (the paid practitioner tier, to be launched separately). Free My Vagina Pro membership includes conceptual guidance, mechanisms, clinical pearls and handouts, while advanced treatment tools are reserved for practitioners who need more structured support.
Do you teach how to interpret vaginal microbiome testing?
Yes. We provide education on interpreting microbiome reports and pathology findings through a naturopathic/integrative lens, and incorporating results into treatment planning. More advanced interpretation tools will be available via Pro+.
Do you offer CPD or certificates of completion?
Certificates of completion for courses is provided. Formal CPD/CE accreditation is being considered for selected training as the education library expands.
Can I ask practical questions or get mentoring support?
Yes. You can submit questions or book practitioner mentoring sessions if you want help with a complex patient or treatment plan. Mentoring is an optional paid service.
Is the content appropriate for complex or chronic cases?
Yes. A significant proportion of our educational material focuses on recurrent, treatment-resistant and multi-factorial presentations. We teach how systemic health, behaviour, hormones, immune function, gut health and lifestyle factors interact with the vaginal microbiome.
Can I integrate this with conventional care or antibiotic therapy?
Absolutely. Our approach is integrative rather than oppositional. We teach how natural and functional strategies can be used alone or alongside conventional treatments, and when co-management or referral is clinically appropriate.
Does this program replace medical advice or training?
No. My Vagina Pro is an educational resource designed to expand your clinical reasoning and provide practical tools. It should be used as a complement to, not a replacement for, your professional training and regulatory scope.
Can I unsubscribe at any time?
Yes. You control your membership and can opt out easily. There’s no contract or ongoing obligation.
