Avoiding lactobacillus overgrowth
Lactulose is a prebiotic that selectively feeds lactobacilli species in the vagina, which can lead to an abundance of lactobacillus species. This overgrowth can result in cytolytic vaginosis (CV), which in most people will resolve without issue once the food supply (lactulose) is ceased.
Symptoms include itching, burning and thick white discharge. CV can mimic a yeast infection, but yeast treatments won’t work.

And… some good news. It is 2.5 weeks ago that I started with the 3L’s. And now for 1,5 weeks I have just been using just the one L (lactoferrin) and I am BV symptom free! Fingers crossed what will happen after my period and unprotected sex.. but I am very pleased with the result so far!!!!!! I had nearly forgotten what having normal vadge juice feels like : )
