Aunt Vadge is My Vagina’s reader-questions column — the place to write in with the vulvovaginal question you would rather not say out loud, and get a real, considered answer back from a real practitioner. Behind the name is a qualified, experienced specialist, not a mascot and not a chatbot.
Who answers your letters
Aunt Vadge is answered by My Vagina’s qualified, experienced vulvovaginal specialist naturopaths — and almost always by our founder, Jessica Lloyd. Every letter is written and reviewed by a vulvovaginal specialist naturopath, drawing on years of real clinical work with patients.

How Aunt Vadge answers
We answer the actual question, plainly and without judgement. We show you the full range of options — naturopathic, functional, root-cause and conventional — rather than only one lane.
And when something belongs with your doctor, a pelvic floor physiotherapist or an emergency service, we say so clearly, because knowing when a problem is not ours to solve is part of the job.
Aunt Vadge gives general information, not a substitute for personalised medical care. For that, you can book a consultation with one of our naturopaths.
