FAQs of using calendula vaginally
Why is the pessary blend brown?
The high-potency CO² calendula extract is so strong that, instead of being translucent like other essential oils after regular extraction methods, so much of the essential oil was extracted that it is brown!
Can I freeze my pessaries?
Yes, but when you initially cool the pessaries, do it slowly (in the fridge, not the freezer); otherwise, the solid pessaries can crack. But don’t worry, you can use two halves just as well as one whole, or you can remelt the pessaries and try again. Once they’re solid, you can store them anywhere you like that’s cold!
