Aunt Vadge: will my vulvar tear get infected?

My partner fingered me and while he was doing it his finger slipped and accidentally peeled the skin of my vagina. It was bleeding heavily right after that, but after an hour or so it eventually stopped. It burns while I pee and wash it.
I am worried about it now that if the peeled skin will have pus in it or something, and how much time will it take to heal.Â

If you keep your vagina clean and dry, there is no need to worry that it will become infected. Depending on how deep the wound is, you can expect it to heal pretty fast – within a week for sure, maybe even days.
