- Bolivia – very restrictive laws relaxed somewhat
- Chili – very restrictive laws relaxed somewhat
The bad news
- United States – statewide restrictions made more restrictive, ban on international funding for organisations with any abortion-related activities
- The Dutch government was taken to court for obstructing access to the abortion pill through general practitioners, with over half the abortion clinics in the Netherlands closing their doors, leaving a four-week waiting period for women seeking abortions
