I’m wondering how your Oral UTI Herbal Formula differs from Hiprex?
I currently use Hiprex to manage embedded UTI, but I’m intrigued by the herbs, if they do what they promise. I’m just a little hesitant, as I’ve used dried herbs in capsules before, and they weren’t very effective.

Hiprex works significantly differently from the liquid herbal formula. Here’s a little rundown.
How Hiprex works for urinary tract infections (UTIs)
Hiprex travels to (is excreted by) the bladder and turns into formaldehyde in the presence of uric acid (in urine). Formaldehyde is fairly poisonous and is a very broad-spectrum antimicrobial, so it is like a little bomb blast in the bladder. Hiprex requires acidic urine to work.

Our UTI herbal formula, by contrast, is multifaceted and works on various aspects of a microbe’s life cycle and cell, as well as our human tissue.
Understanding herbal actions on UTI bacteria and the bladder
One herbal action might work on biofilms, another on bursting the cell membrane, another on reducing the ability of the pathogen to attach to our cells. Then, another herb may use one or more of those elements, but have strong soothing, anti-inflammatory effects on the bladder tissue, which not only helps the bladder tissue to feel better, but reduces the efficiency with which a bacteria might attach, through inflammation.
Then, others help strengthen and heal tissue, again reducing inflammation and entry points of pathogens to damaged, inflamed cells.
If you were bored one day, you could look up the known and studied effects and traditional uses of each herb and be blown away by how interesting and effective each plant is for various issues.
Most drugs come from plants and microbes
Herbs are really amazing, our first pharmaceuticals and where almost all drugs have emerged. What’s largely different between drugs and herbs is that a drug can be patented if it is one single active constituent, which is why drugs are so strong but also so limited in their effect.
Meanwhile, herbs do 5-10 actions each, you can’t patent (most!) plants, and they work synergistically with one another for extra effect. The herbs in the UTI blends work together to help a person, a body, to heal, not to just keep taking the herbs over and over like you might Hiprex.
Beyond just killing bacteria
Hiprex does nothing for the environment except kill off ALL bacteria, including any helpful microbes that might be trying to start a life in the bladder. This is helpful if it’s a one-off, but it is not so great as an ongoing therapy to manage UTIs, if the idea is to recover completely, rather than just manage symptoms.
The herbal UTI treatment helps to prevent future infections by improving tissue health via various mechanisms, soothing, repairing, and dampening inflammation, and this reduces the capacity for pathogens to cause problems.
It doesn’t mean you’ll never get a UTI again; it means when you do, you do not necessarily need to use Hiprex (formaldehyde) to manage it (though of course you can use that as well if needed, but I’d use it as a backup, not a first line). You can use the herbs as you need to, to reduce the negative effects of the UTI and to improve your bladder health overall.
My personal experience with the herbal UTI formulas
On a personal note, as someone who is prone to UTIs due to a family history of kidney issues, I always travel with these herbs just in case. I have the blends at home – and Hiprex and antibiotics and whatever else of course! (I take no chances!). I ship these herbs express to any of my friends and family who mention a whisper of a UTI.
These UTI herbs are absolutely my go-to; they work very fast for me to reduce symptoms and that horrible, indescribable, sweaty sort of vibe of the UTI that nobody talks about. I just wish I had the right words to encourage anyone with UTIs as the bane of their existence to try them, and have them on hand so you can resolve your symptoms quickly. They also do taste good, unlike almost all other herbs! Sort of sweet and almost flowery, if that’s even a taste.
