Here you’ll learn how to use Phyprex UTI Acute to manage the uncomfortable symptoms of acute urinary tract infections. Phyprex UTI Acute pairs perfectly with Phyprex UTI Prevent.
The herbal formulas are potent allies in the fight against UTIs, and because they are botanical medicines, they come with fewer side effects and risks than antibiotics and Hiprex. No antibiotic resistance, no tummy upsets, no formaldehyde.

How to pour a dose of Phyprex UTI Acute
Always shake liquid herbs well before use. The herbs are a mixture of alcohol extracts and glycetracts (a non-calorie sugar syrup), and the liquids will naturally settle into layers. Always dilute liquid herbal medicine.
Use Phyprex UTI Acute 1ml every hour
Shake the blend to combine the contents, and carefully pour 1ml (20 drops) into the measuring cup. Top the cup up to the 30ml line with water. Drink this like a shot of liquor. It’s very diluted already, so it shouldn’t taste like much, but have a drink nearby just in case.
Repeat this every hour for up to 15 hours, or a maximum dose of 15ml, or as needed. If you are a larger person or the symptoms are severe, you can increase the dose to up to 2.5ml initially. When symptoms start to subside, taper off as you feel ready.
It doesn’t matter if you take the herbs with or without food or drinks, including alcohol. However, if you’re taking other medicines, herbs, or supplements, check any specific requirements before mixing. If you’re not sure, keep 30 minutes either side free of other treatments.
Keep going until the UTI symptoms are gone
The UTI symptoms should start to dissipate within 1-2 hours of your first dose. Drink plenty of water to keep your bladder a little full most of the time, and keep the urine flowing to reduce discomfort as the herbs work.
Keep taking the formula for 3-4 further hours after symptoms clear, to ensure full clearance. If symptoms return, immediately restart dosing.
Other treatments can be used at the same time, such as D-mannose, high-dose cranberry, or antibiotics if you’re using them. They all support the same goal. To speed up clearance of UTI symptoms at home for free, try foot acupressure (reflexology).
Aim for a maximum dose of 15-30 mL of herbs per day unless directed by a healthcare practitioner or if you slightly exceed this amount due to increased dosing. Getting rid of the UTI is the important step, not saving the herbs for a rainy day.
When to increase the dose
Increase the dose to 4-5ml if you are very symptomatic, are a larger person, or are not experiencing any reduction in symptoms after two hours.
The goal is as little of the herbal formula as possible to get results, but the first time you try, you may need to increase your initial dose if it’s slow to work. You want to feel better fast, to get a significant reduction in discomfort, then you can taper as needed.
For some people, as little as 1ml works very well, but others prefer up to 5ml.
Don’t skimp on herb to save herb!
If you consider how many doses are in one bottle at 1ml per dose (100 doses for a 100ml bottle), you can foresee that the longevity of a bottle is extended if you use the lowest dose.
But, don’t sacrifice the benefit of a larger dose in favour of making a bottle last longer. The herbs target UTI-causing bacteria such as E. coli, E. faecalis and Klebsiella, so providing the best amount for your body is key.
Don’t be afraid to test different doses, but do remember it takes about two hours at the first dose, so avoid heavy dosing, thinking it isn’t working!
When to taper the dose
After 4-5 hours of regular doses, you’ll notice symptoms are lessening, which is a good sign. If you have increased your doses initially, now is a good time to revert to the 1ml, and stick to it until after symptoms have disappeared.
This can take a day or two to fully clear, but usually the UTI symptoms are significantly reduced in a 4-5 hours.
What if symptoms don’t budge?
If you have increased your dose to up to 5ml and are at hour 4-5 without any reduction in symptoms, consider it is not a UTI, but something else, and seek medical attention. If it’s a UTI caused by the usual suspects, it will respond to higher doses of herbs.
If it’s not a UTI, this is not the right treatment, and you need to see a healthcare practitioner. If symptoms are severe, seek urgent care.
What if symptoms don’t clear completely?
If you’re prone to UTIs or the symptoms were severe prior to starting your treatment, there can be lingering symptoms. Start Phyprex UTI Prevent immediately and continue the 1ml every hour of Phyprex UTI Acute for as long as you need the following day.
Phyprex UTI Prevent works to heal and restore urinary tract tissue and support immunity, and reduce inflammation caused by the infection.
How often can I use Phyprex UTI Acute?
You can use a daily dose of Phyprex UTI Acute up to 15ml, for no longer than three weeks at once. However, if symptoms are not resolving, start Phyprex UTI Prevent instead. If symptoms persist, please see your healthcare provider, as the treatment is inappropriate for you.
