InterFase Plus is used vaginally as a douche, with the powder from the capsules dissolved in water. You can use InterFase Plus for the BV Mouth Treatment and orally for gut biofilms.
Do not insert the capsules vaginally! It’ll burn. The capsules must be opened, and the powder must dissolve in water.

InterFase Plus vaginal douching instructions
Empty three (3) InterFase capsules into a cup of warm water and stir to mix. Then, fill up your douche apparatus of choice and choose the position you will be in to perform your vaginal douche.
You can add 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar (a total of 1.25 cups of water) if you tolerate this, but try first with just the InterFase Plus.
How long to douche with InterFase Plus for
Douche once per day before applying other vaginal treatments, starting with just three treatments to test it out – it doesn’t take long to work. Use it when you brush your teeth to prove this (see the Mouth Treatment); your teeth will be smoother after just one use. Do not overuse InterFase Plus vaginal douches.
If your vagina is irritated, we suggest doing a test run of the InterFase douche to see how you tolerate it. InterFase Plus contains enzymes, which, by their very nature, break things down, and that can cause raw tissue to become further inflamed.
Using InterFase vaginal douches with other treatments
Use the InterFase douche directly before inserting other vaginal treatments. You want to capitalise on the InterFase and whatever of it is left lingering in your vagina.
If you are using other vaginal treatments, you don’t want to wash them away, so only use InterFase douches for the first week of treatment, but use only for three consecutive days to start with.
You want your other treatments to stay put, and not be washed away with the douche. Use other treatments after the InterFase Plus douche.
Using a probiotic post-InterFase vaginal douche
Empty the powder from a Life-Space Women’s Microflora Probiotic or another high-quality probiotic containing the best strains (L. crispatus, L. gasseri, L. rhamnosus and L. jensensii) into a capsule.
Insert the probiotic deep vaginally after the InterFase douche, if this is part of your treatment plan.
What to do if irritation occurs when using an InterFase Plus vaginal douche
Irritation comes in many forms and may range from some initial stinging to outright swelling, inflammation and pain. You need to be the judge here of what’s ok and what’s not.
Some initial stinging is normal and should pass quickly. If irritation continues or you start to feel soreness and pain, immediately douche thoroughly with warm water alone to rinse out any particles of InterFase enzymes from your vagina. The irritation should subside once the irritant has been removed.
You can reduce the dose in future (so one or two capsules instead of three), double the water, or cease using InterFase vaginally altogether, depending on the result.
You can also leave out the vinegar, as sometimes a raw vagina isn’t a huge fan of acidic applications.
What to expect from a vaginal InterFase plus douche treatment
You will not ‘feel’ the biofilms being dissolved and you won’t be able to tell. Biofilms are too small to be seen, and will be degraded and be discharged from the vagina with the douche liquid itself, and afterwards with vaginal discharge.
It’s important to use the InterFase Plus vaginal douche with other treatments, since the biofilms will degrade, revealing the microbes hiding underneath. They are not going to like this loss of their cosy protective layer, therefore it is important to treat these bacteria, and replace them with desirable protective bacteria.
Treatments to use after InterFase Plus vaginal douches
You can use any My Vagina or Killing BV treatment after an InterFase Plus douche. It can be a great addition to the Four-Pronged Approach Fixer Box for vaginas or penises.
