Hi Aunt Vadge,

I would like to know if I’m just late or am I pregnant? My boyfriend and I were messing around and his penis touched my vagina and touched the tip. It was February 14 and my last period was February 1-7 and it was irregular. I haven’t got my period yet. I don’t have symptoms of pregnancy.

So, am I late or pregnant?

Dear Not Sure,

It seems unlikely that you are pregnant if just the tip touched your vagina, but it’s not impossible. By now, you can take a home pregnancy test to find out very quickly, but if you have irregular periods, I’d assume your period is as it usually is: irregular.

Tests are cheap and easy, so go to your local pharmacy or supermarket, or buy one online. Doing a test will put your mind at ease!
